I loved this book. From the first chapter i was sucked into Rachels world, i felt her anger, her pain. The story is a real heartbreaking tale of betrayal and the crossroads it can cause. Buy it, trust me you'll love it...just remember to keep the tissues handy.

WOW! What a wonderful read from Michelle Reid. She is an incredible author that pulls you in right from the first page. I was hesitant to pick it up due to the content, but it came highly recommended so I thought I would give it a try. The book did not disappoint! This a story of betrayal, how it destroys the most sacred bonds of commitment and how difficult it really is to ever trust again. There for awhile, I actually thought these two were never going to make it back to each other. Actually, there were times in the book when I didn't want them to get back together. I felt her pain. I felt his pain.

I usually read historical romance and was looking for a change...this book was good...the writer did a good job...a loved the Witty banter between them in the end...I Normally go for books with lots of passion and love scenes ..this one was lacking the details but she still pulled it off...that's a huge compliment for me..considering I only read detailed love scenes ..I wish she had more details of there bedroom scene's , but it still drew me in and I found I really didn't miss it that much (just a little ) this book was a good read ..It has alot of emotional moments that draw you in..

I think the author speaks from personal experience in this book. There is no quick fix to that loss of trust. Infidelity can be overcome but it is a long painful journey. One I would not be able to bring myself to wish on my worst enemy.

Really liked the book, a little dragged out in parts. But overall a good read and funny at times.

Love the Harlequin Treasury books that I've read recently. They make great quick reads.

It seemed to me that he placed the blame on her. Not to mention he wronged her in more ways than one.

...there is no longer trust. How can a woman possibly overcome and forgive her husband for cheating. I personally could not. There is nothing that can be explained such as, "I needed someone and she was there." Well then you better go find her then, cause if you thought you needed someone then, well your definitely gonna need her now. The fact that they have children in my opinion only solidifies the issue. I want to be an example for my children, fideility means everything in a marriage once a man cheats he will do it again and again. Believe me I speak from experience.
