    Good reference, easy to browse through

    This book has a lot of patterns & a nice variety! The photos with modern colors make it easier to evaluate the pattern by not being distracted by alternating stripes of 1960s overly-bright colors. Several projects I have designed from these basic stitch patterns have turned out very nicely. After being unable to spend money on the ones in the store made from cheap yarns, I have designed a few of my own capelets--they look as if they came from an expensive boutique & result in a lot of positive feedback!

    Great Stitch Patterns

    I bought this book because I love to design my own patterns. I prefer knitting over crocheting and would like to crochet my own patterns soon. This book has pages and pages of stitch patterns and now the difficult part is finding the right pattern for my next project. If you love to knit and/or crochet and would prefer to design your own project rather than use someone else's design, this is the book for you.
