Even though this book boasts 'unauthorized'; I felt it stayed unbiased and pure to the general mass of biographies and documentaries I have seen and read. It's a great short read as well as a easy point of reference for dates and names. If anything I felt this book played more into the hardships that Marley and the Wailers had to withstand....ie being left for dead in Europe by Nash and Simms?!!!? This book solidifies just what strength of will and character Bob Marley had and continues to expell even now from the grave; through his message and his music. He exampled what unwavering willpower and focus can accomplish. God love em' And his love of all races but none more so than his constant vigil of the black race in an oppressive world is heart warming and heartbreaking. 'Every man has the right to chose his own destiny'-Marley. Break the chains; the mental shackles that tell you who you should be..... that's Marleys' constant message. How uplifting!
