Why didn't they start reprinting these old Uncanny X-men comics sooner? If you aren't interested in buying overpriced old backissues get the next best thing. These collections of the classic X-men by Cockrum and Byrne in trade form with the unbelievably great art printed on glossy pages is indispensable. Stan 'The Man' Lee and whoever else got this idea rolling to reprint the 'Classics' are on the ball! I can't wait to see volume 3 come out in a paperback issue!
