- LendMe LendMe™ Learn More
Stories of the undead have been around for centuries. Ranging from mummies to vampires and werewolves. The fascination with these creatures has been exploited through books and movies. But where did these creatures come from? Are they just characters realized through fiction, or do they have a basis in reality. Perhaps the makings of myth and legend, many of these creatures are widely believed to be real. Hollywood has shaped our view of the undead with such great films as Dracula, The Werewolf, Frankenstein, The Mummy, Interview with the Vampire and The Haunting. Steven King and Anne Rice have turned the idea of ghosts and scary creatures into an art form. King has delved into all areas of the undead from Pet Semetary to Rose Red and The Shining. Always suspenseful and riveting, they have reshaped our views of these creatures to the film version we have seen. In the this book, you will be presented with a wide array of the undead.
