The first book was great, this had so much more drama... well don't want to give anything away. You won' t be dissapointed. Worth every penny!! Read both books in days. Can't wait for the next one

This is series is so addicting!! I loved The Underworld even more than The Fallen Star. The writing is wonderful and the constant action and unsolved mysteries keeps you on the tips of your toes the entire time.
So good (::

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.I was so excited after reading The Fallen Star (Fallen Star Series Book 1) to receive The Underworld. I was immediately swept back into Gemma's story and it did not disappoint. This being the second book in the series allowed for other characters to be developed and new relationships and friendships to be formed. Gemma's journey to get to the Underworld to find her mother has many surprises and interesting twists, I can't wait to see how it all continues/ends up. I really enjoy the way this series has differentiated itself from others in the genre, so anyone that is looking for a new series should pick these up. My only request is that the author get a new editor, some of the mistakes in my copy were glaringly obvious, maybe not existent in the kindle version, but it is the only thing that takes away from the fun of reading these books.

The Underworld is the second book to the Fallen Star series. I was intrigued with this story line from the start of the first book. In this second book Gemma is struggling to know just who to trust. At every twist and turns it seems one more person has a personal agenda that may just hand her over to the dark side. Although, as the story progresses Gemma is continually learning to control the star's power and test its limits. This second novel carries the same excellent story line, but it seems to be lacking some of the intensity and intrigue that the first novel offered. I still find this book to be a very recommended read, but it was lacking some of the excellence that the first novel gave me.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the first book in this series but I LOVED this one even more! Gemma's story continues along side many other characters that I grew to love even more in this book. Danger and excitement still jump off the page as emotion stirs in the background. Another beautifully written work by Jessica Sorensen. I absolutely cannot wait to read the next installment to this series! Oct 29th cant get here soon enough :)

Super slow and boring. The same dialog is used over and over. The first book is only 200 pgs and the second is only 192 pgs. Don't waste your time or money.

I thought the first book was good but the 2 awsome! This one had so much more drama it was breath taking. I do wish that the books were longer but you take what you can get. I have also read the 3 one. Can not wait for the forth one!

The idea for the book is a good one, the author has imagination. Unfortunately this series is a fail in my opinion. I really wanted to like this book but poor editing, lack of continuity, and repetitive dialogue make this book hard to finish.
I am from Wyoming, same as the author, and wanted to support one of my own. While i appreciate what she was trying to achieve but this series needs re-edited and worked on. I will NOT be purchasing the next book in the series.
