This book is amazing and a great compliment to Meghan's first book, Undiet. Like Undiet, The Undiet Cookbook goes beyond beautiful and tasty recipes. Meghan gives you helpful tips and information to help you along your own health journey. The recipes are fun, delicious, and will get you in the kitchen more often than not! When I came across Meghan and all the good she is spreading in the nutrition world, I knew she was legit. She is so knowledgeable, kind, authentic, and down to earth. Just as she was able to heal herself through healing meals, Meghan is on a mission to help others reach optimal health through nutrition. This cookbook has 130 gluten and dairy free recipes that are nourishing, but that are also really fun to create. So if your new to cooking or it's a part of your daily routine, this cookbook is for everyone! From drinks, condiments, snacks, and the main course, you will be making more from scratch than you ever thought you would and the best part? You'll have a blast in the kitchen! I can't recommend this book enough. I want everyone to have it!

Big Congrats Meghan! Here is my review. I've posted to Amazon.com and BarneandNobles.com The Ultimate Guide to Whole Food Cooking and Holistic Living Fall in love…with healthy cooking and holistic living! If you’ve every walked into your kitchen and stared blankly at your refrigerator, stove, or oven feeling guilty before you’ve even made a meal, then this book is for you. Having this book in your kitchen, is like having Coach Meghan by your side, cheerleading you on the path to optimal health in a fun, energizing way. It screams, “make health happen!” empowering you with the confidence to DIY. Focusing on gluten-free, dairy-free and plant based meals, Meghan also offers options for vegan lifestyles and many suit Paleo too. More than just a regular recipe filled book, it’s the ultimate reference guide for anyone wanting to eat well, live well, think well and sleep well in an achievable and sustainable way. It’s a culinary feast of deliciousness where she covers every meal for every part of your day including DIY recipes for beauty care. Most helpful will be the meal plans that include the recipes in the book for everyday, entertaining, holidays, kids parties and traveling too! Her gorgeous eye-catching photos, easy writing style, simple nutrition facts, and wellness tips all complement her delicious recipes. This whole food book will leave you satisfied, but like any good meal, wanting a little more. As you float through the The UnDiet, Meghan’s ebullient personality and love of healthy holistic living comes to life through recipes that won’t disappoint. Try the “Berry Oatmazing Muffins” and “Chocolate, Chocolate, Say It Twice Pancakes” first then eat your way through each tasty recipe thereafter! Sonia Jabon

This cookbook is amazing. I really like how Meghan encourages you to do what works for you and leave out what doesn't. The recipes are easy and delicious with not too many ingredients. As someone who is just now learning to love cooking at 28, I find this incredibly refreshing. So far I have made Miso Hungry Soup and the Beet the Heat juice, both were incredible and incredibly easy. This is going to be my go-to cookbook from now on!

Meghan Telpner's Undiet Cookbook is one of the best cookbooks I have found in a very long time. It is a wonderful addition to our cookbook library, with stunning photography, delicious recipes and fabulous additional content. I cook a lot with my kids, and loved seeing how excited they got about all of the delicious choices, as we went through the book to put together our weekly meal plan. The book is a wonderful reference point for someone who might be new to the world of healthy, whole food cooking, but it is also a fabulous resource for people (like us!) who have been cooking like this for a while. I loved all of the additional tips and resources, as well as the Lifestyle section, complete with some great DIY recipes to help maintain a healthy lifestyle, inside and out. The entertaining section contains some fantastic meal plan ideas that I will be sure to reference the next time we host friends and family for dinner! While all of the recipes are fantastic, some highlights for us were the Ronsonian Pumpkin Soup, the TLT Deluxe Sandwich, the Sunflower Power Spread (the ultimate kid friendly snack, served on slices of cucumber!), the Feet on the Earth Indian Stew and the Dressed to the Nines Sweet Potato. The Decadent Drinks section is pretty fabulous too. Having so many wonderful and accessible recipes at our fingertips is such a treat, I know that this cookbook will be a frequent reference point for us both now and in the future.

Meghan has a magical way of weaving words together to tell stories that inspire you to go out and live the best version of yourself. It is easy to tell that every picture and recipe was a true labor of love to share with the world. The recipes are mouth-watering and I can sincerely vouch that the Mushroom-Vegetable Sorta Dumplings and the Rawmazing Key Lime Pie will be on the regular rotation in our home! Amazing goodness! Meghan’s recipes are easy to follow and full of plants. Don’t let this scare you away if you are an omnivore—there are often suggestions on how to change up the recipes to include sustainable meat options and are also suggestions to make a recipe grain-or soy-free. There is also a chapter on making your own condiments—which are incredibly easy and delicious! No need to settle for store-bought spices and condiments when you can make some that are even more delicious! What I love about this cookbook is that it is so much more than recipes—it is informational and encouraging. Meghan tells her story of healing through diet in the first several pages of the book and encourages you every step of the way to join her on a journey to health. She inserts humor often and shares her experiences in a way that make you want to go over to her house and have tea (or maybe a Kombucha Margarita!) in order to hear more! She is the ultimate cheerleader for a vibrant healthy life! I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in bettering their overall health (Meghan even includes a chapter with recipes for UnDiet Beauty Care!) I promise that by holding this book in your hands you will feel the warmth and joy radiating straight from it and you will be inspired to take a step to better health for yourself!

From the moment I "found" Meghan, several years ago, I knew that I needed her in my life. At the time, I was struggling with the concept of feeling comfortable in the kitchen (i.e. learning how to cook) and making real, whole, nourishing food taste DELICIOUS. Her blog, videos, first book (UnDiet), and culinary nutrition certification program completely changed my life. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true -- and I won't be the first person to tell you that. As an registered nurse and integrative nutrition health coach, UnDiet was the only book I recommended to clients. Why collect a million books on food and nutrition when Meghan had covered it all in UnDiet -- and in a way that completely resonated with me and aligned with my own beliefs. The only drawback was that there were only a handful of recipes in her first book. It was a whole life/lifestyle guide, with a few recipes added throughout. Now, with The UnDiet Cookbook, we're getting the whole deal: Tons of info on overall wellness/lifestyle (that is real and genuine and honest -- and will resonate with readers everywhere), but also Meghan's biggest collection of incredible recipes (food AND beauty!) - so you'll only have one place to look when you're wondering what to make for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, dessert -- and even DIY beauty care. I couldn't be more excited about this one! Another pretty incredible feature is that with The UnDietCookbook, you've got options. Every recipe has a vegan option. Paleo? You're covered, too! If you're gluten-free, this book will become your new best friend. Everything Meghan creates is delicious - and always a hit in our house and at potlucks. If you want to learn how to create vibrant health via nourishing food, this is your guide. If you're going to buy one cookbook for your house, let this be the one. You will not be disappointed!

With a quick click you can have the tastiest resource of information at your fingertips and in your kitchen guiding you to best health from the biggest cheerleader for your health, Meghan Telpner! Her recipes and guidance will have your belly happy and your lips smiling while your body says, “Thank you for so much goodness!” Meghan provides the why behind the goodness, but if you are someone who reads the last chapter to find out how the story ends, you can skip to the recipes and everything ends happily ever after☺ Buy this book (and her first book!) and you will have happy dreams . . . in chocolate chip pancake form . . . and more!

I wish I had this book when I first went gluten-free. It would have saved me a ton of time and research. The recipes taste amazing and they are all gluten and dairy free. They are very flexible in that you can adjust or substitute an ingredient if needed for your specific "UnDiet" way of life. The recipes are easy, the pictures are colorful and I love the added tips and bonuses about ingredients! If you are gluten free, you definitely want this book! If you are thinking of going gluten free, then buy this book and you are ahead of the curve!
