ok.......well....the description of the book that had me sold......
"Self-serving libertine Jeremy Greymont likes his sex on the rough side and his women anonymous."
This played a VERY, VERY minute part in this book. The 1st sentence had me in the book and i couldn't wait to read the rest.......Then....it got sweeter.....and sweeter......pages and pages of sweetness. I almost thought the book was over half way through because of the happily ever after but then it went on and on and on. A bit of an underlying story which grabbed me now and then and then more of the same happilly ever after. I'm counting down the pages and wishing it would end SOON! Trudging through the pages. I have less than 100 left. almost there hopefully. I would have liked a whole lot more of rackishness (there really wasn't any.....except for the 1st page)..........There were some steamy love sceens but i almost felt that the author felt obligated to put them in. I don't know. If you like reading harlequin style romance novels this might be concidered a toe curler. But a bit too tame for what i was lead by the description to be. Oh well.........To each his own.

Fabulous book here. I will be checking out anything this author releases. Jeremy is a flawed hero with proclivities that leave him worried about what they will do to his beloved Georgina who has suffered a horrific assault in her past. How these two find their way together is very sweet and enfolds with a satisfying ending for all parties involved...especially the villains who are utterly evil. Do yourself a favor and buy this book.

What can I say about this amazing author, love her work, love the worlds she creates. Love the character development and humor as well.
I know that whatever Raine writes, I'll enjoy and want to keep on my keeper shelf!!
I accidentally read the historical's after discovering her contemporary works, and even though I rarely read historicals anymore, both resent reads have been a wonderful journey to the England of old.
I highly recommend this gift author, she is a rare talent!

Breathless Erotic Historical Romance!
OMG I have just finished reading, The Undoing of a Libertine, an amazing erotic fantasy, written by Raine Miller! This author is a high quality writer and I just love her books and her style of writing.
I have to mention the beautiful graphic of her book cover that really represents her hero and heroine.
She really pulled me in her story of Jeremy and Georgina by her nice flowing words.
Beautiful sexual chemistry between her two characters and sexual intensity that kept me reading!
It is also a story filled with trust, tenderness, intrigue and passion! You will fall in love with Jeremy and Georgina. It is the perfect romantic erotic historical romance filled with high emotions! I devoured this book! Some stories are so marvellous to read! I have to say, that this one pleased me very much! To me, Ms. Miller is an author that I really love and highly recommend her books

This book was just perfect. I'm glad I got this book when it was free. Book was well written and had a good lengthy well thought out plot. I am in love with Jeremy, a perfect, strong, and passionate hero. Jeremy and Georgina made a perfect match. The book had many wonderful passionate, sexy, and heartfelt scenes. Really loved the fact that the book had a good thorough ending and was not rushed. Highly recommend this book. I am a new fan of the author. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I loved this book. It felt like "chicken soup for my soul". In other words it was very comforting. I hated for it to end. I loved the way that Jeremy became a lovesick "musher". There's just something about a man that would do anything for his woman that makes me all syrupy inside. I've read Ms.Miller's other books "Naked" and "All In" and I loved them too.The only difference is the time period. A good book is a good book. Kaye Dixon. Phila., PaWas this review helpful? I loved the other Raine Miller books I've read (Naked) but this one was so shallow, the plot was weak, the characters not very likeable and the sex wasn't up to her usual hot standards. I didn't even finish it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
