Copper Crossfire is the hottest alt-pop band in the US. Lead singer West MacKinnon is on top of the world with his fame, his fans, and his friends. He never expects to fall for some chick he meets backstage, especially when she doesn't seem the least bit interested.

Nora Rookwood is focused on her life and her dreams after high school - opening her own car garage. She's never been one to get girly or swoon over guys because she spends all of her free time fixing up her baby, a 1961 Pontiac Bonneville.

Nora's best friend Ashna drags her to a Copper Crossfire concert because she won tickets from the radio station, along with Meet and Greet passes for after the show. That is the night her life changes forever because it's the night she meets West MacKinnon.
