Overview

Sara and Danny have been dating for a year and are madly in love with each other. She is a teacher in New Jersey and he is a non-fiction writer. When he proposes to her, she discovers something shocking: the young man is the heir to the Swedish throne.
Despite it all feeling like a dream and a fairytale story, complications arise during their journey to Sweden. The monarchy has strict rules for Swedish nationals, including the requirement to speak Swedish - which Sara does not fulfill. Additionally, Princess Fiona, Daniel's sister, has given up her crown to her brother but can reclaim it if she desires the title and meets the kingdom's standards better. Will the love between these two young individuals be able to overcome all of these obstacles? Or will ambition for the throne be the driving force behind Daniel's actions and win his heart?
Could they see that their thoughts and beliefs about themselves and their relationships could be the biggest barrier to living a happy life? Can Sara love who she is in her relationship with Danny while staying true to herself?
