The Unquestionable Truth Part 1

3.6 5

Alt-metallers Limp Bizkit make a ferocious return with this serious-minded EP, which takes a thematic page or two from the influential and now-defunct Rage Against the Machine. The disc also features original guitarist Wes Borland, who departed in 2001 and returns to give the tunes an aggressive six-string appeal.

I had just about given up on this band after Wes left, and then hearing the horrendous "Results May Very". This ep puts my mind at ease, knowing that a band w/ this much tallent is finally buckling down and making some serious music. Great album, and I'm looking forward to Part II.

After the anticipation of Wes' return, this CD is a complete letdown. There is only one song that is worth listening to more than once. What a disappointment.

In this album, Limp Bizkit takes a more focused approach to expressing what they need to say, and it sounds excellent!

Being a huge Limp fan I bought this the day it came out. It is nothing like their other albums. I wouldn't say that it is horrible but its not worth buying.
