    Oops they did it again

This Album is da bomb. The best vocalist Anthony Keides is supported by Hillel Slovak, Jack Irons, and Michael ''Flea'' Balzary to make this never before heard style C.D. It's not my favorite but it takes a bite and changed my music life forever.(in a positive way). Buy it if u know whats good for u.

    The Uplift Mofo Party Plan

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' best album in the Hillel Slovak era. Great songs, such as Organic Anti-Beat Box Band, Backwoods, No Chump Love Sucker and Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues (this version's great, but Dylan's REALLY SUCKS!). Flea plays great as always, Slovak's guitar improves a lot from Freaky Styley's, Jack Iron's drums are also good and Anthony Kiedis sings great as always. It also brings all the lyrics, except for Special Secret Song Inside's and Love Trilogy's (it says TOO MANY ''things'').

    Definitely the way forward; excellent.

After the two first funk-rock style albums, the Red Hot Chili Peppers produced a more straight-rock style third album. Anthony Kiedis' lyrics were starting to become more poetic, in tracks such as Behind The Sun. There is still plenty of irreverence, like in the misleadingly-titled Special Secret Song Inside. On guitar, the late Hillel Slovak plays brilliantly; his style greatly influened the band's next guitarist, John Frusciante. Flea's bass plays a huge part and Chad Smith is also very inspiring here. However, their finest moment would come in 1999 with the exceptional Californication.

    CHILI PEPPERS SCORE AGAIN

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have already been hits and this helps them in their climb to fame. They are just being what they have always done and are doing it pretty well. I have never listened to a Chili Peppers album I didn't like and this CD shows for it. Unfortuatley, this was the last CD for guitarist Hellel Slovack, who died of a drug overdose and Jack Irons, who quit. Hillel was great but the band pulls through.
