When Prayer Won't Come . . .

When prayer just won't come, when the day has been difficult, when you are in testing times, you may find this collections of prayers a helpful way to restart your conversations with God.
When life is joyful, when your heart is filled with thanksgiving, when you wish words were more nearly adequate, you will find help here in expressing your gratitude to God.
The book is divided into helpful, topical sections, including Approach to God, Redemption and Reconciliation, Needs and Devotions, A Week's Shared Prayers, and more. If you could only have a few books in addition to your Bible, this would be one to own.

Wonderful prayers that speak from the heart

It's as if the writers of the prayers looked into my heart at all the things I want to pray about my sinfulness, spiritual neediness, and our Father's glory. Then they put the prayers into such eloquence that it becomes a Psalm. Each prayer is one page long and you can incorporate them one by one in your regular prayers. The 220 pages are grouped into topics of:

Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Redemption and Reconciliation
Penitance and Deprecation
Needs and Devotions
Holy Aspirations
Approach to God
Gifts of Grace
Srvice and Ministry
A Week's Shared Praises (Morning and Evening)

Buy a hard copy of this book and keep it with your Bible for regular use. When this earthly pilgrimage is done, your Bible should be worn out with regular usage, and hopefully this prayer book, also.

One of the most beautiful books I've ever read. Every Christian should read it. It's what our attitudes should be toward God and what our relationship with Him should be at all times.

I only wish it would be released in Nook Book format very soon!
