Very good book, very well written. However the transfer to the E-book format was very poor. Huge number of typos, misspellings, bad grammar and whatnot. Made it almost impossible to enjoy. I can recommend any book by P. N. Elrod but not for the Nook, if all the Nook books are as badly done as this one was. This is not an error on the part of the author, but in the job done by the publisher or B & N.
The only comment I have on the story is the fact that the author's vampire, Jack, doesn't have physical sexual relations, and doesn't urinate. so I assume it dries up and falls off. He doesn't seem to miss it, but I do. Somehow just biting his girlfriend, Bobbi, doesn't do it for me. I miss that, and enjoy that closeness and caring that are in other UF books. I'm sorry he's impotent in the 'normal' way. Having longer canine teeth just isn't exciting for this reader.

This is a great Vampire series. But the last books are somewhat hard to get. But I had to get them. The only fault that i see is that the endings suck somewhat in that you don't always get a concise ending and when the next one starts it doesn't always pick where it left off.
