Overview

With this kiss...

In a city that cannot be found on any map that is inhabited entirely by witches, warlocks, vampires, and werewolves, Kyle McKane is seeking a cure for a curse that turns him into a blood hungry vampire during the night, and leaves him an exhausted, sleep deprived human during the day.

...She will cure him...

Jackie Moore is probably the worst witch in the city apart from her ability to heal wounds and illnesses with a touch of her lips. She rarely sees outsiders and is stunned to come face to teeth with Kyle when he finally succumbs to his hunger and attempts to bite her.

...Whether she wants to or not...

Instead she grabs him by the ears and kisses away his curse before he can sink his fangs into her. The problem is that the cure is only temporary until Kyle turns again the next night, and then goes out in search of Jackie so that she can cure him again, whether she wants to or not

USA Today Bestselling and award winning author Mandy Rosko loves writing paranormal romances with werewolves, dragons and people with special powers. She is the author of the Things in the Night Series, Night and Day, and the Dangerous Creatures Series. She does M/F, M/M, a touch of medieval under her other pen name, Rizzo Rosko, and pretty much anything else she's in the mood to write (which makes things confusing for readers since that means she's too much of a flake to stick to any one brand). Light-Hearted Paranormal Romance With Vampires The Vampire's Curse by Mandy Rosko is a fun paranormal/fantasy romance. Not too intense, not too soft, this is a perfectly amusing romantic tale. Can she turn him from Vampire to Human? You will have to read to find out. The author has done an amazing job with her setting and her characters. Just enough substance and just enough sizzle. Highly Recommended Read!! The other two books in the Things In The Night Paranormal Romance Series are also great. Book two, The Legend of the Werewolf and book three, The Shepard's Agony.

This was a fun little romantic romp in a rather unique paranormal setting. I liked the twists and the vampire take, and the strange and dysfunctional family dynamics touched upon. A city for paranormals and magic, and all the intrigue that went on made for a book I had to just read from start to finish.  And how Kyle became a 'vampire', that was different, and added to the fun! Looking forward to the next one, the little teaser included has got me curious.
