I bought this book a couple of weeks after i became a vegetarian. Even though it has delicious and easy recepies(the veggie lasagna is my favorite meal ever, thanks to this book) and gives me ideas for new meals, i don't have that much time to cook such big meals because i just cook for myself. But if you have other vegetarians you can cook for then this is the book for you.
The best thing about this book is that each and every recipe comes with a photo. The method of preparation for each dish is explained in detail. One of the best vegetarian cooking recipe book in my opinion!!
I like this book. I tried vegetarianism some years ago and decided it was time to go back to a healthier way of eating. HOWEVER...the only thing that i do not like is that it uses dairy products. True vegean diets do not consits of any animal by-products. This is still a good book for a geginner but i would suggest reading up on dairy substitutes- milk, cheese, egg-if you want to eat a true vegetarian diet.
This book is a great one to use as a general guide, but find that living where I do, it can be hard to find some of the ingredients. I find that they have very tasty and successful recipes, but definitely can be arranged to better fit ingredients you can find and might even have around.
