This is the third in a series of books about Nick Seven, retired CIA operative who wanted nothing more than to leave his past behind and enjoy the laid back life style of the Florida Keyes with his love, Felicia. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond his control draw him into a web of murder, extortion and bitter rivalries.
While it would be inaccurate to say this is a mystery, it is certainly that. Likewise, its not action/adventure, but there is plenty of that, too. Spicy sexual interludes, tastefully done, punctuate this very fine blend of all of these genres. Anyone familiar with the South Florida locale will recognize that the author certainly writes about what he knows.
This is probably the finest work I¿ve seen from this talented author. I sincerely hope to see much, much more.
From the first chapter, the reader knows this will be an action-packed book. The descriptions of the various locales in Florida were excellent. The dialogue was engaging. There's an abundance of characters, sometimes hard to keep track of, that fight with each other. The sex and violence are described at the right level, sometimes graphic but not overly explicit. Overall, it's a quick, exciting read.
Has anyone checked out Tim Smith's new novel, The Vendetta Factor? It's wonderful...I mean -Did Tim actually know some of those New York Mobsters??? The book demands attention from page 1 and has a wonderful twist in the end. You'll love it! You'll be calling your travel agent to book the next flight out to Key Largo! Every page must be turned...You have to know what happens! I think it would make a great movie! Do you love New York or Florida? You'll love Tim's lastest novel...It won't keep you waiting!
