Wendy Weston has been left at the alter three times now and is determined to track down the latest man to leave her, Paul, with the help of his cousin Marco. I found myself having a difficult time connecting to Wendy. She was too focused on being married than she was being happy. Her fiancé dumps her and she goes jet setting around the world trying to find him and is determined to convince him to marry her? Personally, I couldn’t imagine wanting to be married to someone who would treat you like that just for the sake of being married.
Marco on the other hand I really liked his character a lot. He was so patient and understanding. Not to mention HOT! He’s also been secretly attracted to Wendy for a long time. With Paul out of the way, he can now act upon his feelings. I found myself rooting for Marco. He was exactly the type of man that Wendy needed in order to be her truth self and make her happy.
Overall, it was nice revisiting the Weston family again and even though I wasn’t able to relate to Wendy like I did some of her sisters in the other books in the series, it was a quick enjoyable read.
