Imagine a mystery that's as well-plotted and intriguing as anything by Michael Connelly or Dennis Lehane. Now imagine a mystery written in the brilliant, shimmering prose style of one of the great New Yorker writers -- John Updike or John Cheever. John Knoerle pulls this off in 'The Violin Player.' I've recommended this book to all my friends -- each on has been delighted. This is the real deal, friends. John Knoerle can flat out write, and he's got something interesting to say. It's a literary thriller that's fine literature and genuinely thrilling

Hello, if you live anywhere near Chicago, or have ever visited there, READ THIS BOOK! It's delightful, exciting, and builds to a really good ending! The author really uses words well and throws in some very unusual twists.
