    Brutal

This volume is what The Walking Dead is all about. What happens to humanity when the world ends as we know it? This volume is brutal hands down. Your own emotions stir when things begin to happen to characters we have grown to hope for throughout the series. The best of the volumes by far.

    Blockbuster conclusion to excellent series

    Highly recommended.
This is what the last seven collected volumes (much longer for readers of the monthly comic books) were building to.
In many ways Walking Dead" is unconventional for a horror comic, at least in terms of depth of characterisation and pacing, but this volume honours the Zombie movie tradition that 'anyone can die at any time.'
The story does continue after these events and it remains a must-read series, but this is a milestone.
This is a bad jumping on place for new readers. Read all the previous volumes for best results. The ratcheting up of tension and drama of this series can't be overstated.

Warning. The language, violence and situations in this series means that it'll be strong medicine for most reading palates. The drama of what happens to the characters will also be tough on your nerves. If ÿou can take the pace, this will be a memorable reading experience.

    Good Comic.

I really like this comic. It is good, and we see a lot of emotional things happen. This is the downfall of the prison era. Pic this up if you havet. Its a pretty good buy.

    Great

Early on in the series, Rick tries to kill a walker but a man stops him saying to save for when he really needs it. At first you think its for another walker but by this point in the series another reason had become known. An escape from the brutal world he lives in, a second option, to end his painful existence. Welcome to The Walking Dead.
