Walking Dead is a great series for true drama, fiction, horror, suspense, mystery and of course comic fans. Kirkman will have you second guessing what all you arm chair detectives and seers predict will transpire next. This amazing writing coupled with art work which is second to none. If you are a true fan of Survival Horror this series is a must buy!

I have Books 1 through 3 and just ordered 4 and am awaiting to catch up! This story and series is so great and there are so many twists and turns when you lest expect it and the art work is simply amazing! The writing and story line keep you on edge and wanting and waiting for more to come! Highly recommend these books or even an issue for every comic book fan, especially if zombies and horror are your thing!

Rick is always getting hurt--I don't like that idea!  Tyrese as a ladies man?  No way!  The action really begins when Carol "commits suicide" after talking to their captive walker. Tyrese doesn't show any ounce of guilt, and neither does Michonne.  The way "flashbacks" in time occurs, it is really easy to follow.  Tyreese being beheaded by The Governor, produced very little shock value as Hershel's beheading did for me on the T.V. series.  In other words, I was glad to see this Tyreese go.  The battle that concludes Book four, and acts as a mirror image to Season 4's Too Far Gone, is much too confusing, so I must read on to Book five to see who perished and who survives.  I also like the idea of Lori Grimes dying during childbirth on the TV series than I do when she is running away with Baby Judith in her arms at the moment she is shot in the back.  Dramatic, but not good enough for me.  I'll read on, but the characters in the comics are very disappointing than how I have grown to love the chapters in the TV series!

Sorry to see lori and alot of the people killed off but hopw it continues the sort of gruesome downturn. The only down side is they dont have that one guy who likes and shoots guns and carries everything from a 9mm to ar-15 but whatever
