I love this manga. All of the characters are hilarious and have a very unique personality that allow the author tell outrageous stories. My favorite character is Sunako, she is very different from other manga heroines. She loves horror, always a mess, and just hoping to stay in her room away from adventures and dazzling boys. One warning though some of the stories are a little wild, dealing with bondage to serial rapes, but there are more fun adventures than dark. I'm just sad that the mangas are getting delivered fast enough. I can't wait to see what happens to Sunako and the boys.

I love this book for many reasons: Sunako is way different than most of the shoujo main character girls out there, I can relate to her, the story is somewhat different than other manga, it has some violence, I love how most of the people are scared of Sunako, I like the idea of a Cinderella-makeover plot, and it's funny. All in all, I'd say this is one of the best books I've read. If you love comedy manga, then there are some that I've recommended! :]

I LOVE this series! The characters are all great and super funny. The star Sunako Nakahara is full of hilarious surprises. There are only a few things I don't like about The Wallflower. 1. Sunako is in her chibi form to much. But... I guess it's a needed visual representation.
2. When Sunako is it Big Sunako Mode she only has like 4 or 5 different expressions.
3. The guys' bodies look kinda freaky. They're so skinny! You can totally see it when they're shirtless. But other than that it's one of the best manga ever!
I love Wallflower! The story starts out different from the regular shoujo plot. Sunako is an amazing character. The "moving into a house filled with guys" is probably the ONLY typical thing about this manga. It's full of funny parts and some parts can be seen as a little dark, but it's balanced well.

Ok, here's the deal. To put it plainly, I love this manga! At first sight, I was a little hesitant about this series. The artwork is different from the mangas I was used to reading, but once I got past that and started getting into the story I was completely hooked. I've never laughed so hard over funny chibi faces in my life! The story line is a little strange and admittedly I had no idea were it was going, but I was more than happy to go along for the ride. The characters are interesting, humorous and cute in their own ways and I expecially love how unusual the leading lady is. It's refreshing to see a strong leading lady who cares about things other than her hair style or boys, even if her interests are a bit bizarre. Anyways, this series is great and if you're smart, have a darker sense of humour and into things a little out of the ordinary, you'll definetly love this series too. Two thumbs up!

Ok, I just got into manga thanks to my friends and this one is the second series I have started, and let me tell ya it is so awesome! At first I was hesitant but serriously really good, I couldn't put it down, once you start reading it you can't stop I should know I am going out to buy the rest of the volumes today! If you want something that is totally beyond the ordinary I would read this.

The Wallflower is the best manga I have ever read. I bought all of the Wallflower manga. I'm still waiting for volume 6. I can't wait till it comes to my house (I just bought it now). Anyways, the Wallflwoer is funny and cute, especially Kyeio (I'm not sure if that is how you wirte his name). He's so adorable. I fell in love with him. Anyways the main charcter gril, Sunako, she's a joy to read about. AS for the other three guys, they're pretty hot to, though I personally perfer Kyeio.There was this one cute part about Kyeio and Sunako, but I'm not going to spoil the fun and tell. That scene was just drop dead cute. If you want to know what's up, get the manga and read it. Trust me, the minute you pick up this pick, you would want it to never end. So just trust me and read it! You'll love it as much as me.

Wow, the first time I read this manga book, I was actually thinking this book would be another chick-flick...but it wasn't. I totally loved the way Tomoko-sama drew the characters. I fell in love with this book, it's funny, witty and very 'my-life-of-craziness'. It has romance (Nio-chan and Takenaga,Ranmaru and almost ever girl . [that pimp!], Yuki-kun and Mi-chan...and hopefully Kyohei and Sunako-chan!!!) and a girl that can actually fight for herself.Tomoko-sama can truly depict a girl's struggle to overcome a broken heart with a twist of a lot of humor.

This whole series is AMAZING! It's like Queer Eye only with 4 hot straight guys making over a girl. Of course there is the romance and the beautiful drawings that take your breath away and make you wish YOU were Sunako-chan. This series is a journey of 4 hot guys living together with a girl while trying to make her into the lady that fits the mansion that is their boarding house. Sunako, the main character, does not want to be made into a lady. She is quite the opposite. Butt-kicking, slasher flick loving girl who gets nose bleeds from seeing something pretty, so the guys have a huge task ahead of them all for the 'stupid rent.' And of course there is a blooming romance between Sunako and Kyohei , one of the 4 hot guys, though they don't see it... Yet. This roller coaster ride gets better and better with every book. Read it! You'd love it!

the first time i saw this, i thought it was going to be about a typical ugly duckling type of storyline. but this turned out even better than i expected. eventhough the plot can be seen with many other mangas/animes wallflower has its own unique style and flavor of its own to make it stand out. i love the fact that sunako can defend herself and others and be cool when least expected, plus having four handsome guys to hang out with doesn't hurt either. almost anyone can relate to sunako, from her struggle to be herself to overcoming a broken heart. wallflower isn't too sappy so even guys can enjoy it too.

I read this book and wondered why nothing like this happened to me. 4 good looking men come and live with you to make you over. Not bad. But Sunako does not agree with my way of thinking. She would rather live in her dark room watching Dr. Hanable eat peolple. Not that that doesn't sound fun as well. I would put this in my top ten. This is the book for a rainy day.

This has been one of the best shojo titles I have ever read. It's humorous and heart warming. Tomoko Hayakawa does a wonderful job characterizing the 'not so typical heroine' Sunako-chan; and giving her the oppurtunity to build her self esteem and possibly fall in love. (That's my guess, that hasn't happened yet) Her gorgeous gaurdians are a reason in it's own to pick up this book. Kyohei, Yukinojo, Ranmaru, and Takenaga are beautifully drawn and stray from the typical style of japanese manga. Personally, i think she's one of the best artists i've seen to date. For anyone who loves comedy, drama, and romance (HOPEFULLY SUNAKO AND KYOHEI HOOK UP)in their manga; they'll love this story. PLUS it's 224 pages long!! longer than your typical manga...lots of story and substance, you won't be dissapointed!

I love this manga. I thought my day couldn't get any worse. This manga is just like me... i can so see me being like Sunakochan. Really, i mean I liked the book on of the greatest manga's i read so far. I hope she does get kyohei. And she doesn't need to become beautiful if she truely dont want to.

The coolest Manga I have read today! Sunako is a shy wallflower but also she has a VERY dark side that shows in this first manga. She's tough and dangerous! Stuck in a mansion with 4 beautiful nosebleeding guys! And they're mission is to turn her into a REAL lady! Awesome!
