THE SPIRIT OF A LADY

Four fabulous guys must completely transform a high school girl if they want to keep living rent-free in her aunt’s luxurious mansion. But Sunako Nakahara, the most fashion-hopeless girl in Japan, would rather live like a hermit and watch her favorite horror movies than undergo a makeover.

When the guys stumble upon the mansion’s secret subbasement, they discover the ghost of a prim and proper lady who (thankfully) begins to possess Sunako’s soul. It seems their problem is solved. Too bad that Sunako’s now-suitable personality includes a desire to lock the boys up in the mansion’s dungeon!

I love this manga. All of the characters are hilarious and have a very unique personality that allow the author tell outrageous stories. My favorite character is Sunako, she is very different from other manga heroines. She loves horror, always a mess, and just hoping to stay in her room away from adventures and dazzling boys. One warning though some of the stories are a little wild, dealing with bondage to serial rapes, but there are more fun adventures than dark. I'm just sad that the mangas are getting delivered fast enough. I can't wait to see what happens to Sunako and the boys.

If you want comedy it's here. If you want romance it's here. If you want horror it's here. If you want yaoi it's sorta here but you have to use your imagination a little...it's got the perfect mix of drama and humor. It keeps me rolling over and over again. It's definitely not the kind of manga you will read once. The plot moves at a perfect pace. The art is absolutely phenomenal especially if you like pretty bishonen (which I do!) the men keep you drooling, the girls keep you laughing and the entire manga is one really big hit!
