The names have changed but the sounds remains the same: this is still absurd prog rock set to a disco beat, boasting the same arrangements as before, all the actors mimicking what came before. Whether you like this or not entirely depends on how much you like the Old Generation of War of the Worlds. The New Generation feels like the Old, snapping to the same beats, riding the same squawking analog synthesizers, celebrating the same sci-fi corn.
