Overview

The Way It Was records the oral histories, which otherwise would have been lost to time, along with more than a hundred never before released photographs documenting the sacrifices made by a generation of Americans protecting a way of life Americans all too often take for granted.

Victor, the grandson of an Italian immigrant and a nephew of four WWII veterans, is an amateur historian who is passionate about keeping the history of this noble war alive. He is often asked to speak on the topic and was recently invited to preview The War by Ken Burns, which was broadcast on PBS-TV.
