Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"With his velvety voice and flawless phrasing in high gear, John Pruden's performance conveys militaristic certitude but never slips into dogmatism or condescension. It's the good kind of certitude, which serves as a constant reminder of how much mental and physical discipline it takes to be a Navy Seal." ---AudioFile

I like inspiring books and Mark Divine's "The Way of the SEAL" is one of them. Crisp reading, clear outlines and very interactive. It is good for anybody who wants to forge ahead, irrespective of the field the person is involved in. Comes on top of Disciples of Fortune, Leadership:Theory and Practice, Long Walk to Freedom, as inspirational books that I enjoyed.

An inspiring read to say the least. This book leads you to success and ond of the best leadership books I have encountered, and I have read many.

I've always been impressed by the Seals and what they do for our country, voluntarily, and was intrigued by Mark's book to see how it was different from other success-self-programming type books I have read. The Way of the Seal (WOS) focuses a great deal on the physical testing and endurance that Seals must go through to toughen them up, increase their resolve when faced with inevitable bad situations. Besides the physical, Mark goes into some different kinds of visualization training that you likely haven't seen before, and rounds out the thinking by showing ways to be on the offense, all the time. There are a ton of exercises and sample plans to get you going, including a test to see which aspects of your life require work to become the all around lethal weapon, so to speak, in your life. If you're not serious about doing something different to change the way you act and think to get where you're going, don't pick this up as a casual read. It's for doers.

The Way OF THE SEAL is a book that I feel would have made a difference on my outlook on life back in 1971. I plan to give one to each of my grandkids when they graduate from high school.
