With this volume, released in 1937, the author offers his observations on not only the Emerald Isle's flora but also its animal life, geology, archaeology, and more. Reproduced to mark the 60th anniversary of its original publication, this edition includes a new introduction that puts the book in context to contemporary issues. Still one of the best titles on the subject.
