    The Maine rocks. Literally.

With... John O'Callaghan on Vocals... Garrett Nickelsen on Bass... Kennedy Brock on Vocals and Guitar... Jared Monaco on Guitar... and Pat Kirch on Drums... The Maine really does music right. The lyrics straight from John's life and heart, they can relate to anyone at any time. I found The Maine when I was surfing around on iTunes looking for bands that are not in the lime light quite yet. After band after band that all seemed too generic and whiny sounding I found them. They were fresh and made sweet melodies in my ears, and soon I couldn't get them out of my head. This is their first EP and they picked songs that sounded similar to each other. Their full length album, including songs like Count 'Em One Two Three, and most likely Daisy, will be coming out sometime in the summer of 2008. And in the words of Garrett Nickelsen about the album, "It sounds like summer." This EP is great and I greatly recommend it to anyone.
