Overview

In her deliciously sexy debut, Cara Connelly gives a whole new meaning to crashing a wedding.

Before the wedding

Tyrell Brown wanted to get the hell out of Houston and back to his ranch. Instead, he’s stuck on a flight to France for his best friend’s wedding. To top it off, he discovers he’s sharing a seat with Victoria Westin, the blue-eyed, stiletto-heeled lawyer who’s been a thorn in his side for months.

At the wedding

Victoria can’t believe it! How can she be at the same wedding as this long, lean cowboy with a killer smile? So what if they shared a few in-flight cocktails, some serious flirting, and a near-miss at the mile-high club? She still can’t stand the man!

After the wedding

The wedding disaster’s in the rearview, but the sizzle between these two is still red-hot. They tried to be on their best behavior in France, but back in the States all bets are off . . .

    Decent Story

This was a decent story. My main problem was the excessive use of profanity. I also felt the character of Ty was emotionally immature at times. Everyone easily forgave his moronic, immature behavior. I'm pretty sure most people would not forgive him for ruining their wedding, even if he was extremely hot. There was character growth throughout the story, which was the main redeeming quality of the story.

Tall, teasing, Texan Tyrell Brown....what a hunk!....he got my vote early on...Victoria Westin was a petite, practical, and perfect match for Ty....loved the chemistry, the chaos, and the commuting between the two of them...all of the characters were believable...even the horses!....great read!

    Loved it!
The Wedding Favor is a fantastic contemporary romance, even though I mostly read historical romances I loved this book. I always love the story with hero and heroine fighting and are enemies. Tyrell Brown is a Texan cattle rancher whose wife is killed in an accident by a drunk driver 7 years ago and Ty hasn't recovered from her death. Victoria Westin is an intelligent and sexy attorney who representing the defendant. The funny thing is they end up in a plane (seating next to each other) going to France for a wedding( Ty's friend and Victoria's brother). Ty and Victoria agree to flirt and be nice to each other for the bride and groom sake. Hero and heroine are scandalous, smart, sexy and funny. This the first book I read by Cara and I really enjoyed it, her writing is fabulous with lots of humor and great characters. I am looking forward to read her next book. The only thing I wish she used less F words in the book. Thank you Cara Connelly

    A good laugh awaits you

I enjoyed reading this book, it is funny and I laughed a lot. It is lively and keeps you reading. I am not your typical reader and just renewed my interest in reading at 74 years young. The sex is a little overboard but I enjoyed the storylines.

This book had me from beginning to end!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this book! It was a fun read! Often found myself laughing out loud! Ty reminded me of Woody Harrelson's character Pepper in the movie The Cowboy Way. Well written. The profanity is appropriate for this type of book.
