Overview

In her deliciously sexy debut, Cara Connelly gives a whole new meaning to crashing a wedding.

Before the wedding

Tyrell Brown wanted to get the hell out of Houston and back to his ranch. Instead, he’s stuck on a flight to France for his best friend’s wedding. To top it off, he discovers he’s sharing a seat with Victoria Westin, the blue-eyed, stiletto-heeled lawyer who’s been a thorn in his side for months.

At the wedding

Victoria can’t believe it! How can she be at the same wedding as this long, lean cowboy with a killer smile? So what if they shared a few in-flight cocktails, some serious flirting, and a near-miss at the mile-high club? She still can’t stand the man!

After the wedding

The wedding disaster’s in the rearview, but the sizzle between these two is still red-hot. They tried to be on their best behavior in France, but back in the States all bets are off . . .

Loved it! The Wedding Favor is a fantastic contemporary romance, even though I mostly read historical romances I loved this book. I always love the story with hero and heroine fighting and are enemies. Tyrell Brown is a Texan cattle rancher whose wife is killed in an accident by a drunk driver 7 years ago and Ty hasn't recovered from her death. Victoria Westin is an intelligent and sexy attorney who representing the defendant. The funny thing is they end up in a plane (seating next to each other) going to France for a wedding( Ty's friend and Victoria's brother). Ty and Victoria agree to flirt and be nice to each other for the bride and groom sake. Hero and heroine are scandalous, smart, sexy and funny. This the first book I read by Cara and I really enjoyed it, her writing is fabulous with lots of humor and great characters. I am looking forward to read her next book. The only thing I wish she used less F words in the book. Thank you Cara Connelly

Tall, teasing, Texan Tyrell Brown....what a hunk!....he got my vote early on...Victoria Westin was a petite, practical, and perfect match for Ty....loved the chemistry, the chaos, and the commuting between the two of them...all of the characters were believable...even the horses!....great read!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this book! It was a fun read! Often found myself laughing out loud! Ty reminded me of Woody Harrelson's character Pepper in the movie The Cowboy Way. Well written. The profanity is appropriate for this type of book.

This book was very funny and enjoyable. 330 pgs. I didn't like the bad words. I wish you authors would clean up the language in your books. Go back to respecting your readers.

This book is a pure joy. It has everything – some sadness, laughter, lots of fun. Highly recommended.

Although the storyline was somewhat predictable I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and never wanted to stop. Having lost my spouse years ago I could relate to Ty's difficulty with moving on, although my life wasn't nearly in such a mess as his. He truly could be charming when he wanted but also thoughtless and self-centered. Victoria was the classic, I did what everyone wanted me to do person. I was glad to see the change in her, realizing what she wanted and going after it. I'll admit I was somewhat surprised in her mother's support but anything is possible in a novel (and real life). I would consider reading other books by Cara Connelly.

I felt it was poorly written. The characters were not even exciting in any way.

I enjoyed reading this book, it is funny and I laughed a lot. It is lively and keeps you reading. I am not your typical reader and just renewed my interest in reading at 74 years young. The sex is a little overboard but I enjoyed the storylines.
