Overview

Josie's back and she's getting married!

Except, how is she supposed to plan a wedding when her mother and her best friend Mattie both think they're the designated wedding planner, and none of their ideas are remotely similar? Mom wants super-traditional and Mattie wants... well, the complete opposite.

And that's not all Josie has to deal with. The gossip hounds are as invasive as ever; setting up polls on everything from what shoes she'll wear to when the divorce will be! Can't a girl at least get married first?

But the marriage is threatened when the Disaster Diary provides Josie with an opportunity of a lifetime and the real question becomes: with the stakes so high, is Josie willing to risk it all and take a chance on herself?

If you want a fun, fearless, independent heroine... McMaster the Disaster is NOT it.

I read the entire series and this one was the least successful for me. I was quickly bored with the heroine's inability to think for herself and make decisions like an adult. I was hoping she would finally pull it together in this book and quit sticking her head in the sand but it never really happened... the "McMaster the Disaster" theme got old, really quick! I didn't relate to her at all.

So McMaster the Disaster plans a wedding. Or rather is caught between Mattie and Mom planning a wedding. As fun as the first book and I enjoyed 98% of the book thoroughly (except for a shoehorned in "misunderstanding" between Josie and Jake that was quite clearly worded and then [sorta spoiler alert] voila, nope, the reader and Josie both did not read/hear clearly apparently -- guess was needed device to get plot to the desired finish. Nonetheless, a very enjoyable read and will be looking forward to more from this author.

    Fun read

Really enjoyed this series! Was a bit disappointed that Josie woudnt/couldnt stand up and fight for what she really wanted. It all worked out in the end but she came across as really whiney and weak. Still definitely a good read!!
