Author Biography: Amy Dawson studied fine art and decorative arts in Florence. She has since worked as assistant to interior decorator and author Annie Sloan, and as apprentice to muralist Michael Dillon. Now a freelance decorative painter, Amy has undertaken interior decoration commissions for numerous houses.
Gina Moore was born in Singapore and settled in the UK in the early 1970s. Trained in fashion, she designed her own line of clothes before turning to soft furnishing and interior design. During the 1990s, Gina established a successful soft furnishing business in London, living in an apartment in Islington that she describes as a "scratch pad for ideas." Texture, her new shop dealing in organic fabrics, is a runaway success. Gina is the author of Natural Fabrics (1997), Cushions and Covers (1997), and The Teletubbies Craft Book (1998).
