    Werewolves, imps, and jersey devils... Oh my!

    For anyone who has a thing for crypto-zoology is in for an enjoyable treat.
    Although it isn't an in-depth book, it certainly covers a vast majority of strange and weird creatures that have been reported by many individuals.
    From werewolves to lizard men, black dogs to 'spring heeled jack', you'll be surprised and maybe even freaked at the bizarre beasts that could be roaming the planet today. All in all, I recommend this book, on one condition: don't read before bedtime!

    Somewhat flawed but still awesome

    It was a great book, but the only problem is that some of the "cryptids" in this book arent cryptids at all. Cryptids are unidentified animals or animals that are thought to be extinct but are still being sighted. Paranormal activity is not included in cryptozoology- meaning no ghosts, aliens, or vampires. It only covers unidentified earthling animals. Cryptozoology roughly means the study of hidden animals. However, it is very informative and well written and I would certainly recommend this book.

    Nothing special here, but neither is it horrible by any means. Unfortunately though I really didn't learn anything new from the book, or feel like reading it had any value to me.

    The book was mildly entertaining, but ultimately you could get the same amount of information just using Google and looking up cryptozoological topics.
