Well-Rested Woman: 60 Soothing Suggestions for Getting a Good Night's Sleep

To all the tired women out there, do yourself a favor and read this little book. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand & get your sleep back. Great job with easy-to-understand suggestions on how to get the juice back in your day - and night. I especially liked the off-beat ones like feng-shui, electronics, hypnosis, chiropractic... definately well-worth the small investment before you waste your dollars and energy on doctors. I'm very very glad I checked it out first.

Well-Rested Woman: 60 Soothing Suggestions for Getting a Good Night's Sleep

I just got this book from santa claus (my husband) and have already read through it. Take the time to check out the table of contents and I'm sure -- if you're a woman who has difficulty sleeping -- this book will help you. Great information on everything from PMS, foods, allergies, attitudes, bad habits, sleep diaries, sleep restriction, herbs, and my favorites hot baths and massage. Just tons of information. I think all the books I've read on the subject is packed into this one but this one is so much more fun to read!

Well-Rested Woman: 60 Soothing Suggestions for Getting a Good Night's Sleep

This is a lovely book, an easy book to read, yet it also has all the scientific knowledge you'll want on the subject. She also has some smart wisdom on life to share which I enjoyed greatly. I loved this book. I hope it gets into the hands of many women who -- like me -- suffer so much from medical experts who don't have a clue how to help. An excellent effort. There are 60 chapters; even do ten and my guess is you'll be better rested and sleep better than you have in years! I thank the author for taking the time to write this book for women who need sleep help!

Well-Rested Woman: 60 Soothing Suggestions for Getting a Good Night's Sleep

My wife left this book by her bed and I picked it up and have found lots of things to help with my insomnia. the hormones and candles and things aren't my chapters -- and the tone well-written but is written for women -- yet there's lots of good, smart sleep stratgies in here. A well-rested man? it's possible...

    Greatful Reader In Santa Fe

I've read just about every sleep book that's come out & they all say the same thing in basically the same way. Dry doctor and medical talk which I've had enough of actually going to the medical offices and hearing it there for the past 20 years. At anyrate, nothing ever seemed to improve much. This book is concise, easy to read, well written and has so much your doctor hasn't covered. My favorite chapter is Cry at night if you want to. Can't remember hearing that at my doctor's office. For the price, it's worth every penny, I've tried about 4 things already I sleep less fitful. If you're female and you've had enough of medical stuff, try this book. It's all in there and in a much more understandable way.

    Finally, someone who understands.

Janet Kinosian's well-researched and very readable book, The Well-Rested Woman, gave me great insight into the entire subject of "sleep." Gratefully, I found that I am not alone staring into the darkness each night. Her book is helpful, soothing and supportive, and it is beginning to help me cope and conquer insomnia.

    Start sleeping better tonight!

After struggling with anxiety and waking up during the night worried about stupid stuff, I read this book and found lots of useful and easy-to-adopt ideas that have helped me to reduce my anxiety and sleep through the night. Her "worry book" idea is particularly helpful. And her personal style, infusing her experiences with her ideas makes this a must read for women who need real help getting more rest. This belongs on every woman's reference shelf.

A great help in getting some rest

I've been looking for something to beat my insomnia, and this book was able to bring a couple of things to the table that I'd never considered before. He techniques really worked for me, which is a big deal, as I haven't been responding to most of the others that I've been trying. It's a real gem and I thank her for it.
