The Welsh Wars of Independence

( 3 )

Overview

Independent Wales was defined in the centuries after the Romans withdrew from Britain in 410 AD. Elise

Good chapter! Length is good. I keep trying to tell you that Aimee's necklace enables her to see things and have powers- you can decide what they are.

    Chapter 4

"Alfred, what are we going to do? Too many people can see the power within her. She will find out even before her time," a pixie fit with long blond hair and sparkling emerald dress sighed.

"Relax, Belle. An- Remi will be fine. As long as we protect her, the secret will stay safe. And Flying Mint Bunny will keep her safe during the plane ride," Alfred laughed.

Belle wrinkled up her nose, "Your breath stinks. And no, Remi will not be fine. We should have given her someone stronger. That stinking rabbit can do nothing but smile and look cute."

"Geez, Belle. When did you become so hateful toward Flying Mint Bunny? After all, the two of you are in the same power circle," a huge red dragon in which Belle, Alfred, and a handful of other creatures had been sitting on snorted. "You two get in a fight?"

"That is none of your business, and no, we did not get in a fight. Besides, I am higher up in the circle. Second only to Greta. I have more powers than Flying Mint Bunny can dream of." Belle scoffed.

"Well who cares?" Alfred asked.

"Plenty of people do, Alfred." Belle hissed. "And it doesn't help that you are the bottom of your circle either."

~*~*~*~*~

I woke up from a light doze just as our captain came over the intercom to announce that we were landing. I clicked my seat belt on and yawned. A lady sitting across the isle from me laughed. "My least favorite part of plane ride, this is. Don't know why, but I cannot stand it."

"Why not?" I replied.

"I do not know," she shrugged. "It just is. But I do have my lucky charn to get me through."

I smiled, "What kind of charm is it?"

"He is a prus. I named him Rod, after my grandfather," the lady explained. I was surprised, having never seen a prus before. The one this lady had was a scaly purple with bright blue eyes. It snarled quietly and paced back and forth in her palm.

"Wow," I breathed. They were more like miniature humans than I expected. The only thing seperating them from that titla was the coloring and animalistic form of the arms, which hung lower and were fromed almost like legs.

The lady chortled, "He is lucky, he is. We made it through the landing without feeling a thing." For a second, I was confused by her words, but when people began standing up, I realized that the plane had landed without my realizing it.
