What a stunning book! and fun to boot!!

This book is not only beautiful to look at, but it's a fun and informational 3-d look into the country's most famous mansion. It has clearly been researched with great care and love for the subject ... exquisitely painted and recreated by Chuck Fischer. The 3-d construction is incredible. Also the pop-ups of former first ladies is a riot! Whether you're a Democrat or Republican, this book will be quite the conversation piece on your coffee table through the election and the holidays!

    Outstanding gift book

For 28 bucks this is a gift that is appropriate for anybody -- a coffee table book that is quite entertaining to pick up and breeze through, or settle down with and read lots of real historical information which is presented in a fun manner. I'm keeping my own copy, but am also sending it to various relatives. If I received this book as a gift, I would be very impressed.
