MacGillicuddy is a friendly young monster who lives with his family in their home under the roots of an apple tree, deep in a forest. His friends Mayhem and Mean Monster Mergatroyd are regular parts of his activities and fun.

In this collection of short stories for children, MacGillicuddy learns what it means to respect others, the importance of being thankful, and many other things. Each story is based upon a particular Christian value, with a Bible memory verse.

About the Author

Chris Arveson has worn many hats over the years, including fifteen years as a pastor in the United Methodist Church. Among his activities, he has presented puppet shows on four continents. It was through puppetry that his character MacGillicuddy Monster came to life.
