She is a Baron's only daughter, desperately trying to find love and freedom in a world where she has no control...

He is a former bond servant struggling to come to terms with his new found independence...

Neither expected to make a connection, especially not such an unlikely and wicked one...

As the only daughter of a Baron and the only female born to her family in generations, the birth of Angela Bennett is seen as nothing short of a miracle. She becomes an instant sensation in society and has her choice of any man as a husband. Except that Angela doesn't want a husband, especially if he can't see past her social image to the woman she really is. All she truly wants is for someone to understand her feelings of captivity among the social masses...

After lifelong servitude, Andrew Wilson is finally free. Free from his debt that is--he is not free from the secrets that surround his inheritance of the debt from his mother. While he is thrilled to finally control his own lot in the world, Andrew is struggling to come to terms with who he is, as he longs to make a connection with a similar soul...

Meet the Author

I'm Olivia Fuller. I published my first book when I was 4 years old (using folded paper and a stapler!), and gave a new story to my kindergarten teacher every day. Back then I wrote about baby dinosaurs (Land Before Time, anyone?), but now I prefer to write romances. When I'm not writing I watch too much television, goof around with my husband, and playfully narrate the lives of my dog and cats: Sweetie, Cher, and Rocket Kitty. (I mean, what DOES a cat do all day under the bed? I can only assume something scandalous...)

The Wicked Games series is complete! Book 3, LOVE AND OTHER WICKED GAMES, was released November 22, 2013.

I'm currently working on a brand new series and I'm really excited about it!
STRANGE AND BEAUTIFUL, a new adult sci-fi romance series coming 2014!

    Annoying characters

The main characters are immature and annoying. We have undesirable emotions - run away! The story is written in a very choppy manor jumping from one point of view to another. It skips over some things and grinds others into the ground with over thinking. We have to experience an event then from each main characters point of view then rehash it again. And I still don't get WHY things were such a drama. So don't give into societies expectations- but I have too! is their obsessive response. No you don't. Perhaps the author was trying to have a "happily every after" without the 'rich and powerful' ending which is fine. But the story, to me, just made them look like cowards running away. It's about 170 pages. Could have been a good book. The premise was interesting. The characters were just too emotionally immature. I realize this is a romance novel but the characters have to be appealing in some way so you have sympathy for them but it was really hard to sympathize.

    Good

The story was very good. It had its moment when I got frustrated by the lead characters, but I liked how it ended.
I can read more from Olivia and I can recommend this book.
