A treasure, and just what it claims to be

This is an excellent compilation of Morris's works. It's a little hard to navigate through, as are all these big collections, but I just go to page 1 to get back to the table of contents and start a new book, or use bookmarks if I'm reading multiple books. Anyway, it's a treat having so much brilliant stuff available in one volume. Nonsense is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. And aside from the cover reproduction of a Morris wallpaper design, nothing here suggests that this is a book of Morris's graphic work.

I was all excited thinking this would be a collection of graphic artwork and it is instead a dull, dull narrative of nonsense illustrations and disappointing in the extreme. Of particular vexation was there was no visible free sample until after I bought. One should have known: you don't get much for 99 cents!

One is required to give a rating: in this case it should be "minus stars"
