Dr Manshadi has graciously opened the door to the life and practice of a cardiologist. This book is engaging and brilliantly written. He gives you the tools needed to make more informed medical decisions regarding your health and well -being. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to further their knowledge of their own body and improve their overall health. This book makes for an easy read. Dr Manshadi obviously is a man who loves what he does and has a great respect for our amazing bodies.

I am sorry for the reviewer whose delivery of this book was delayed. (Mine came fast.) I hope he/she will not hold it against the book, because the book is a gem. Dr. Manshadi has the gift of making the complex understandable. Concepts I've never fully understood, like congestive heart failure, were suddenly clear. And reasons for adopting heart healthy behaviors (like exercise and eating right) became compelling. In fact, without deciding to change, since reading this book I have become very regular in my exercising and I've had less trouble resisting foods that are not good for me. This wonderful book is a must have for anyone interested in watching their health. Dr. Manshadi gives society a gift with his easy to read format. Rarely do I think a book is so important and so good that it should be read by everyone. Dr. Manshadi has written such a book.
I found 'The Wisdorm of Heart Health' to be an exciting read from cover to cover. It is filled with a variety of topics centering around medicine and decision we need to make about our health. Dr. Manshadi's use of easy-to-read language makes each chapter comprehendible regardless of your science background. This undirected, yet thought-provoking health advises are ideal for our any age group as he helps readers understand that something like a 'heart attack' is really not the surprise you should be looking for and what steps you need to take now to prevent that. I absolutely appreciate his use of patient stories throught out the book to help explain some of the concepts in a more contextual and visual level. The self-portrait that emerges in this book is one of a humble, compassionate and well-rounded human being who just happens to have an analytical mind and passionate heart to give back to community.
Overall, I highly recommend this book both because it is a delight to read, and because it raises some very interesting points on how we should manage our health that I hope to further investigate.
