    Spinoff

What a great idea to spin off Allison from the vampire for hire series! It gives me something to enjoy before the next Samantha Moon novel!

I think a 1 star review is too high

If you enjoy reading, good plots, intriguing characters and intelligent story then this book is not for you. I wonder if the people that gave this book 5 stars spend their past time sniffing glue. This book is terrible.

It's another great book by J R Rain.  In The Witch & the Gentleman he main character is Allison, a psychic hotline operator... but so much more.
Out of her comfort zone, she becomes involved child murder mystery that leads her to personal  revelations of the paranormal variety.
This book is exciting and surprising to the very end.

I really enjoyed this book. I love it's intelligent & wit. It's chock full of excitement & suspense with fun & interesting characters that I
really enjoyed. I'm loving this series & look forward to the next one. I'll be sorry when it ends.

This book is majorly in the paranormal realm; full of witchcraft, ghosts, a vampire, talk of a sexy werewolf (we Moon fans know & love)
& even a seriously nasty demon. For me, the book moves at a great pace from beginning to end. It's scary & gets quite intense, yet is
handled in a unique way that made it easy for me to enjoy. This is saying a lot since I am no fan of horror or demons... they are just
    not my things.

I highly recommend this book (& series) to readers who can enjoy a great mixture of excitement & wit with their paranormal
    phenomenon. Enjoy!

Book: The Witch and the Gentleman Author: J.R. Rain Length: 172

Book: The Witch and the Gentleman
    Author: J.R. Rain
    Length: 172 Pages
    Genre: Paranormal
    My Rating: 5 Hearts

Allison's series is a spin-off from the Samantha Moon series. If you have not read the Samantha Moon books this can be read as a Stand alone but Samantha is mentioned and it may intrigue you to read that series also. :)

Allison is a personal trainer and a phone psychic. The thing is she really is psychic. Her best friends is Samantha Moon who is a Vampire. Samantha feeds off of Allison and that enhances Allison's psychic powers. When she is on the phone with people that call the psychic hotline one of the rules is that you cannot meet the callers in person. But she can't resist when she gets a call by a heartbroken father who's young daughter was murdered. When Allison meets with Peter she can tell that something is different. Then Allison meets Peters mother Millicent. Who is a Spirit. Allison discovers a lot about who she is through Millicent. Will Allison be able to find out who killed Peters daughter?

My opinion: I think that this was a great start to a new series. I think that Allison is great because she knows what she is and what she can do and no matter what she is determined to help someone in need. When she finds out that she is more then what she thought it does not stop her. She learns as she goes and uses her new skills to her advantage. I love that Samantha plays a part in Allison's story. I highly recommend reading...

    Excellent Read

I loved this author! I'm not sure how I found this book or this author, but I'm sure glad I did! I loved all the adjectives he used in describing everything. I felt immersed in the story. Wonderful beginning, can't wait to read on!

Ever wonder who works those obsequious psychic hotlines? Some folks who don't know a psychic feeling from a hole in the ground, but then there is Allison... Allison is a truly gifted psychic who supplements her income as a personal trainer with a side gig at a psychic hotline. Her gift leads her into helping solve a child's murder with several twists thrown in for good measure. I am looking forward to seeing where JR Rain goes with this character who evolved from the Samantha Moon vampire series.

    Totally....I frickin love JR RAIN...

I love Samantha Moon... But Allison I am totally digging as my new fave chick to read about!! I hope there is more coming I will have to check to see if there are already some!

Allison gets her first job by a guy who calls in on the psychic hotline. Technically she's not allowed but when you are a psychic, its always handy to know when you are and aren't being watched.

As usual and thank goodness JR can hook you in from the first page to the last! LOVE it!!!

As always, J.R. Rain delivers an awesome mystery with twists and turns that are very surprising while also including romance and emotion. I also love the inclusion of other characters from his other series. You'll want to pick those up too! I can't wait for book two for The Witch and The Gentleman!
