War has wiped the earth clean of modern comforts, and the old ways have returned. Once again, witches walk among us, healing, protecting, sheltering. And behind the great ocean, Richard White, the President of the USA, plans their destruction. One woman rises to defeat him. Will she succeed, or will evil continue to rule the dominated world?

I am 39 years-old and read at least a one book a week. I have never read a worse book than this. It is absolutely ridiculous and whoever edited this for electronic format should be shot and killed. The pro-nouns are wrong half the time and it makes it extremely difficult to follow the story. Especially since most of the names are uni-sex names. There are so many typos I had to edit the book in my head so the story would make some kind of sense. The synopsis for the book has nothing to do with the actual story and even the picture on the cover is in direct conflict with the way things are set-up in the book. I know the book is free, but save your time, this book sucks.

A slow yet interesting introduction in this novel provides the groundwork for several intriguing characters. The title is a bit misleading, however once I started reading & getting into the story, I did not want to put it down. My "Nook" was never far away!
Great job! I'm ready to read the next one, "Jay".

I forced myself to read this book to the end. I was ready to give up by Chapter 3. Even free it is a waste of time.
