I have already pre-ordered the next book in this series. This book is another fun read with great characters from this author.I got the first one for free and it got me hooked. Love the main character and supporting characters. Fast, fun and breezy. Great beach read but you do need to start from the beginning or you will be missing a lot of important history.

I must say H.p Mallory has surprised me this time around. Even though I am not a Sinjin fan I was impressed with this storyline. Jolie has been sent back to her old life not having remember meeting Rand or Sinjin. In this book Sinjin shows up before Rand and things progress from there. It was awesome to see the vampire in action and watch his relationship grow with Jolie. We also learn that Sinjin has feelings and isn't as cold as he appears in the previously books. Sex scenes were believable and enjoyable and I for one suggest this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance. Another great one from the best WAY TO GO H.P LOVE YOU KEEP WRITING

H.P. has done it again! This book made me angry...in a good way. I got mad at Jolie for being so naive and self conscious. I was infuriated with Sinclair for being so manipulative and deceitful. I got frustrated with Rand for not storming in and being the hero we all know he can be. And finally, I was disappointed in Mathilda and Mercedes for not really caring about any of those feelings and worrying only about the Queen. H.P. Mallory has once again left us wanting more, after putting our emotions through the wringer!

THE WITCH IS BACK is like an alternate beginning to the series. This time Sinjin meets Jolie first and introduces her into her full potential as a witch, not Rand.
Can Sinjin change history and have Jolie by his side? Don't miss out on the 4th Jolie book as Rand fights for Jolie to remember.

Another amazing book by H.P. Mallory! This was a great plot twist to the series. The entire book I was screaming "NO!" (I will forever love Rand) but couldn't put it down. Seeing Jolie as a innocent unknowing girl was a great blast back to beginning of the series, but I literally wanted to shake some sense into her. That is why I love H.P. books....they bring out my emotions and leave me thinking about them far beyond the last page.

Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.I am a huge H.P. Mallory fan, and have been since her first Jolie Wilkins book. Since the beginning I have forever been claimed by Team Sinjin. Sinjin Sinclair is every fantasy vampire rolled into one delicious hunk; mysterious, sophisticated, erudite, otherworldly. Having always enjoyed Sinjin, I really enjoyed seeing him take center stage as Jolie's love interest. The scene…no wait don’t spoil it. There is a scene that is just too hot to handle, but Sinjin does not let us done. His character has continue to prove to be an enigma and we finally seem some real pieces of his mind fall into place and get some extra depth from him, and he is finally happy which is worth everything.
Throughout the book the reader is constantly wondering when things will fall apart, because they are bound to fall apart. With Jolie’s flashbacks from the past coming to her in visions and the continuous growing threat going on around her and the Underworld. Of course there are a ton of questions that really don’t go unanswered until the last few chapters but I think that is the way of these last few books leading to the end of the series.
I am glad we got to see Jolie progress more as a witch, but I am said the book was so short. Again once things go to get interesting again we are cut off. I am worried that the last book due out in September is going to leave us short, if it continues in the same fashion as the last two books. However my faith and love still resist with H.P. She has not only giving us an honest heroine who is not perfect, but also giving us great supporting characters and a story with constant twists and turns. Here is hoping for a fantastical end to what is one of my favorite series.

Transported back in time, Jolie’s life is about to be altered, possibly forever! In walks Sinjin – not Rand. Swept off her feet by this charming rogue of a vampire, Jolie still cannot shake the feel ing that someothing is off. Then a voice filled with love and warmth and a visits from not only Rand but Mathilda as they struggle to help her remember and to set the timeline right again.
Through the book you wonder which timeline is the truth .. why did Mercedees and Sinjin do this without her permission – was Sinjin truly protecting her or just manipulating Jolie and the throne or did he go back for a chance to have her fall in love with him? As he has often said – he is not a creature possessing ‘emotions’ but at times the pain can almost be seen in his eyes and felt in his brief words as he continues to cloak himself in his intrigues.
Another great addition to an already great series! Brava, H.p!!

The Witch is Back is the fourth book in the Jolie Wilkins Series. In this book, Jolie has meet Sinjin Sinclair, a vampire. He displays a keen interest in Jolie from their very first meeting in front of her Tarot Card Reading Shop. Things are just doesn’t seem right to Jolie. She has doubts about Sinjin and why he is so interested in her. She then meets Rand Belfour, a warlock, and finds that her fears were real. So begins another Jolie adventure.
I really enjoyed this new installment in the series. There were plenty of drama, love and bittersweet emotions. H.P. Mallory spins another terrific story. I highly recommend the entire series as well as the Dulcie O’Neil Series. You cannot go wrong with any of her books. They are all full of adventure, romance and action.

This book in the series is lacking any real plot or story-line. Too bad. Plus, it's only a little over 200 pages. Not much to inspire reading more from this author if books continue to be like this one.
