Overview

Ancient curses...family feuds...finding a happily ever after can be a real nightmare for the modern witch.

DARKANGEL:
As the future prima, or head witch of her clan, Angela McAllister is expected to bond with her consort, her soul mate, during her twenty-first year, thus ensuring that she will come into her full powers at the appointed time. The clock is ticking down, and her consort has yet to make an appearance. Instead, her dreams are haunted by a man she's never seen, the one she believes must be her intended match. But with time running out, and dark forces attempting to seize her powers for their own, Angela is faced with a terrible choice: give up her dreams of the man she may never meet and take the safer path, or risk leaving her clan and everyone in it at the mercy of those who seek their ruin.

DARKNIGHT:
Kidnapped by a rival witch clan, Angela McAllister envisions a dark future for herself until she discovers her captor's brother is the unknown man who has haunted her dreams since she was a child. Forced to re-evaluate everything she's ever known about the Wilcox witches, Angela begins to explore the powerful connection that binds her to Connor Wilcox, despite the generations of hostility between their families and the disapproval of those closest to her. And when a dark, malignant force arises, Angela knows she must draw on her growing powers as prima to protect enemies and allies alike...even if her choice threatens to tear her new and fragile love apart.

DARKMOON:
One hundred and fifty years ago, a terrible curse descended on the Wilcox clan, dooming generations of women to an early death should they bear a child to the bloodline of Jeremiah Wilcox. Now Angela McAllister is carrying Connor Wilcox's child, and if she can't find a way to break the curse, that same doom will fall upon her. The solution to her dilemma lies somewhere in the past--her own, and that of the woman who cast the curse so many years before. Angela's quest to find the answers she needs will transform the lives of everyone she knows, Wilcox and McAllister alike, and will forever change everything she has ever believed about herself.

The Witches of Cleopatra Hill is a paranormal romance series set in the ghost town of Jerome, Arizona.

Meet the Author

A native of Southern California, Christine Pope has been writing stories ever since she commandeered her family’s Smith-Corona typewriter back in the sixth grade. Her short fiction has appeared in Astonishing Adventures, Luna Station Quarterly, and the journal of dark fiction, Dark Valentine. Two of her short stories have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.

Christine writes as the mood takes her, and her work includes paranormal romance, fantasy romance, and science fiction/space opera romance. She blames this on being easily distracted by bright, shiny objects, which could also account for the size of her shoe collection. She fell in love with Sedona, Arizona, while researching the Sedona Files series and now makes her home there, surrounded by the red rocks. No alien sightings, though...not yet, anyway!

There were a few parts that I wished were more detailed and explained to round out the books a little more, bur altogether it was a great read. About 640 pages (give other take) between the three novels. If you like witches and romance you should give it a go.

I loved it from cover to cover and I'm not much of a reader unless its great on detail and drags me in. These books did just that and I'm happy I kept reading Darkangel.

Fantastic story that has it all. The good girl. The bad guy. Romance, family feuds, and a big mystery! Loved every minute of this journey!

Loved this series! Entertaining, easy to read, and very good story lines. Have been a fan of paranormal romance for several years now and just love it when I discover a new author that I really like. Have read the entire series and waiting on the next two releases! While I am waiting for those, I'll be checking out a another trilogy from Christine Pope!

Christine Pope is a fantastic storyteller. Here we have a book that crosses many genres. Basically a supernatural romance, but it is so much more. The story begins with a 21 year old woman trying to be a an ordinary 21 year old woman. She, however, has a destiny. She is to become the Prima, the most powerful of a clan of witches. Her mother died when she was an infant, never revealing her father's name. There is only one man for her, her consort. She has been dreaming of a man with green eyes for years. She has until her 22nd birthday to find him. Dozens of warlocks from around the region have come, performing the ritual kiss. None was the mysterious man with the green eyes. Time is running out. This is a complex tale of loyalty, betrayal, conspiracy, people not being who they seem. Simple, seemingly unimportant things become vital later on. People she trusted all her life turn their backs on her. People who she thought were enemies become friends. And there is the friend, who despite being almost her complete opposite, is the one watching her back always. There is white magic and the blackest of black magic. There is death and life. The promise of a bright future. A generations old curse haunts her. A deep, long planned conspiracy lurks in the background. And, weaving it all together, is a love that is truly magical. The characters are believable, the interactions very well handled. The magic is well thought out, especially it's fallibility. Probably one of the best book buys I have ever made. Buy It.
