Meet the Author

I’m Steven Montano, an accountant who thinks he’s a writer, based mainly on the fact that I managed to get a few D&D adventures published roughly 2,000 years ago. I’ve been writing as a hobby for almost 20 years.

I’m currently hard at work on the “Blood Skies” project, a post-apocalyptic dark fantasy fiction series. It has magic. And guns. And vampires. Really, what more could you want?

    Must buy

This series is so awesome! Dystopia, undead, military, parallel worlds. One of the best indies I've read.

    Cross and his suffering continue

Very good read. This book goes into buddy mode, pairing up most characters. My favorite parts are the introduction of back story, this time we get more than just Cross, and th odd new abominations that leak from Steven's mind and onto the page. We see the characters suffer so much to protect their fragile way of life. The Witch's Eye must be stopped at all costs. We see new characters introduced and new ways for the existing cast to operate. I am convinced Cross is the John McClane of his age, without the Christmas parties. He must push through the BS to meet his goal, must wade through the muck of others' ill-fated plans for him to get where he needs to be and protect what friends he has left.
