Meet the Author

It all started with a dream that made her heart wrench and set of mesmerizing eyes that begged to be seen, and Allison Cassatta the writer was born. A techie by trade, the daydreamer in her wanted to sail away from the mundane, while the hopeless romantic in her searched for the perfect love story. Many poems and short stories were written before her first attempt at a novel, and once that piece of her soul spilled onto paper, there was no stopping it.

She has an eye for the visually stunning and a mind that screams to bring that beauty to life. She gives her readers something they can feel in the depth of their hearts, creates worlds they can touch, and characters who become your best friend or worst enemy.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, big-city life was a rat race that kept her busy in her career. It took moving with her new husband to a sleepy Mississippi town to make her realize that dreams can come true, and did they ever. She found herself a published author. She found her perfect romance.

Great curl up with a cuppa story!

Per usual, this author never disappoints! I love the imagery in all of Allison Cassatta's books. She always paints vivid pictures that draws me into the story where I almost feel like a part of the background. The scenes, sights smells and emotions become very real as it's possible for you to literally get lost in the book!

Brigid was running her metaphysical shop (left to her by her deceased family)...she doesn't have many people important to her. It tugged at my heart that she seemed so lonely, save having her best friend/boyfriend Christian and her familiar, a cat, Mari. Christian was a good man, but in the wrong relationship and Mari, takes on a different role in her life, as a familiar and a partner later...(no spoilers here guys!) :) Mother and grandmother being gone, when she starts having the same problems that her matriarchs had, and the dynamic shifts the story into a paranormal understanding of her past, and what is to happen in her future, and the importance of her familiar and companion Mari blooms into the fore-front!!!

The story is sweet, romantic and endearing! I love how the relationships change and evolve and in some cases, even come to a close, while new experiences open up and even save her life. It is always difficult to write a review without spoilers when you become so helplessly involved in the story. F/F romance with a paranormal twist! a MUST read. This author never disappoints!!! I only wish the story where longer!
