    Great read

Really good book, a great mix of mystery and supernatural. Kept me interested throughout the entire story. Just when I thought I knew who the killer was, I was proved wrong. Going to start on book two now.

I really enjoyed this book. There were twists and turns, some expected, some surprising. It was written in such a way that I could picture so vividly in my mind everything that was happening. It was interesting from start to finish. I think the best part to me is that it really kept to the point without straying with unnecessary events. It had humor, suspense, mystery; a really great crime novel. I'm looking forward to reading book 2!

Loved this book. The pool scene was unbelievable! I have read the first two books now, this is going to be a great series. Both of the books so far have been excellent, and I will definitely be reading them again. But for now, on to the others!

Enjoyable and surprising mystery. Well worth the time.

Definitely a mystery with paranormal background rather than paranormal story with mystery. For me this is a very good thing. Will be starting third book in series in 15 seconds. Can't be clearer. I liked it.

You have to read this and the rest of the series!

Dana Donovan writes with great imagination and her story keeps you turning the pages. I love to read these kinds of books and yet not many are as good as I found her, she easy to read and sometimes a little amusing. Her books are over 400 pages and through those she twists and turns you and you think you know who did it but believe me it's always a surprise.

    Junior High Writing Style

I had high hopes when I first started reading this book, but that didn't last. The plot would have been interesting except for the juvenile writing and lack of character development. And what abysmal detecting! Two bumbling detectives try to solve a series of murders with techniques that are laughable.

I'm usually not so negative on reviews, but I think from now on, I'll pass up the 99 cent bargain books.
