What happens when one is both Hunter and Wolf?

Things take a turn for the worse when he's notified that he'll be acquiring a partner for his newest mis-sion. The rub? He's kissed her---twice. In his defense, she was already ruined, but it didn't help matters that she was the sister-in-law to his best friend in the world.

And how does a woman protect her heart from one who has the power to destroy everything she holds dear?
Lady Gwendolyn has only one thing on her mind--Finding the Wolf and strangling him where he stands. Unfortunately, she needs him to complete one final mission for the Crown and to keep her family safe. It has absolutely nothing to do with her attraction to him, or his golden eyes, or his wicked smile, or the fact that he's convinced to keep his heart en-cased in ice-that is, if he still possesses one.

    Funny

Hunter & Gwen were a fun couple. I liked this book much more than Dominique and Isabel's. The book is about 500-600 pages but its not like one of those books that drags on and on. I enjoyed that there were "sexy" scenes but not real "sex" scenes. If you like accurate historical accion packed fiction, this is NOT the book for you. Rachel this was a great, funny, smart, silly/cute book. Thank you and please write faster! :) tags: easy read, historical, funny, affordable

I love, love, loved this book! It just seems like Rachel Van Dyken's London Fairy Tales Series keeps getting better, stronger, and harder to put down with each book that she writes! It took me falling asleep for night, to put down the book--it is that good!

I have been anxiously waiting for this latest installment of the London Fairy Tales and I have to say Rachel did not disappoint! This book made me lose my breath for 2 reasons...The first was because I was laughing so hard and the 2nd because I was so tangled up with the characters that when something happened I literally would gasp! Rachel definitly brings her characters to life! This book told the story of Hunter (the wolf) and Gwen (red) 2 spies for England during war with France. Hunter believes his past will prevent him from having any sort of a good future while Gwen believes because of her spy work she will never be pure enough for a husband...these two were certainly made for each other but will they be truly able to overcome their pasts and create a future together or will Hunter once again be too late? I recommend reading this 3rd installment of the London Fairy Tales as Rachel brings in well loved characters from her past works :)

Fabulous read and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I loved this third book in the London Fairy Tale Series!  It was great to find out Hunter's story, who we met in book two.  I really loved his character, but more than that, I enjoyed finding out why he acted and did the things that he did.  Learning about his past was a great emotional journey.  Now Gwen, she was a firecracker!  I couldn't seem to get enough of her wit and attitude.   Together with Hunter their conversations were dynamic!  The laughter, tears, danger and love in this book all made for a great read and a wonderful fairy tale!

I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for my honest review.

I have read all three books in this incredibly entertaining series..but have to state that This final book is Thee Best by far! I found myself laughing out loud from the 1st chapter on! The dialogue & chemistry between "The Wolf" & "Red" was beyond Entertaining, it was brilliant! Additionally the historic references and intrigue rounded out this novel to be among one of my favorites ever read! And I read 1-2 books/day! If you have never read a Rachel Van Dyken book...start with the first book in this series, and you should be through the three books in three days! She's THAT GOOD! I just hope Rachel will write an addition to the series, as I don't want it to end here!

    Slow to start....

This book ended up better than it started. Very slow through the first few chapters. The story line was somewhat unbelievable. I finished it, but don't really recommend it.

    Not Good

Two spies working undercover. Well he's not too undercover because everyone already figured out he's a spy. Her reputation is in tatters because she has had to travel around unchaperoned. You know it's the spy thing . Anyway she goes undercover with the ton supposedly seeking a husband. Of course no man will marry her because of her rep. So to make her more acceptable he ---a known rake follows her around making passes at her. This makes all the men think she is a virgin and want to court her. Makes sense right? No? Believe it or not its downhill after that. I'm not even going to mention the other idiots in the book.
