About the Author

Raphael Tirrell Harlan was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 23, 1991. He's a speech impaired man with ADHD, due to a biological mother's drug addiction. At six years of age, he was fostered by a woman named Cora Lee Harlan, and in 2001 at nine years old, he was adopted by the same woman. Raphael is a Mumford graduate of 2010. In his spare time, he enjoys watching TV shows such as sports, reality shows, cooking shows, news, and morning shows. He also spends time with friends and, at times, family. He also loves cooking foods such as pasta, turkey meat, beef, and vegetables.He also enjoys writing different types of writing from recipes to fiction and a bit of nonfiction stories. Currently, he is a single man who is happy with having women friends in his life, and he lives in Flint, Michigan. He studies at the University of Michigan-Flint with the pursuit for a graphic design degree. He currently owns and operates an internet graphic design business he started in January 2013 called Frugality Designs. He also works at UM-Flint as an secretary and does landscaping for himself as a business. He is currently writing a e-cookbook, his next e-book.

This is a very honest fact based book written by my cousin. The book is wtitten from his heart i know because his late mom was my aunt and what he wrote is the truth. I admire him for allowing his heart to lead him in writting this book for he loves his mom very much. He truly did protect and take care of his mom many times even standing in harm,s way to protect her. A good book to readf about the love of son for his mother.
