    Jennifer Wardrip - Personal Read

    This was a fascinating book that I read in one day! <BR/><BR/>It covers 51 unusual (and sometimes gross!) medical conditions that have actually been documented. There is the woman who swallowed a toothbrush like the title suggests (she accidentally swallowed it while using it to force herself to vomit) to the man who had a swollen and distended abdomen, and the scars from trying to remove what was in it (after his death, the autopsy showed he had swallowed a number of metal objects). <BR/><BR/>I recommend reading this book alongside Dennis DiClaudio's The Hypochondriac's Pocket Guide to Horrible Diseases You Probably Already Have, which is just as fascinating -- and tongue-in-cheek hilarious!!

    Great leisure reading

    Some hilarious and some shocking stories. Very fun to read and a great for when you're waiting. The stories are short so it's easy to stop and start reading, but you'll enjoy the book each time you pick it up. I definitely recommend it.

    Bizarre Medical Stories

    Easy to read, crazy medical stories that are supposedly documented and true. Some of then seem to crazy to be true, but I liked the medical info interspersed among the stories. Loved it.
