In this novella, Regina Duke continues her story from North Rim Delights. I enjoyed revisiting the characters from the first book, and especially the antics of the dogs. I read it straight through, and since it was a novella, it only kept me up one hour past my bedtime!

I especially enjoyed the opening scene when the dog has his goal set at getting to the wedding cake and ends up with pink frosting all around his muzzle. Then I thoroughly enjoyed her trying to handle three large dogs in her compact car. Yes, I too believe that dogs can smile...and pout.
This suspense is filled with enough twists and turns to keep you engaged and clicking to turn the pages until suddenly you're at the end...and wanting another chapter in the lives of Russ and Terri.
